FBG-G2-AK002 Composite High-Capacity Explosion-Proof Tank

The FBG-G2-AK002 is a heavy-duty, fixed-style explosion-proof tank designed for maximum containment. Compliant with strict safety standards, it is engineered to withstand a 2.0kg TNT equivalent blast. Featuring a highly specialized composite wall structure with foamed aluminum buffering and radial base reinforcements, it provides top-tier isolation for the temporary storage, transport, and disposal of hazardous explosive materials by EOD professionals.

Description

Product Description

The physical construction of the FBG-G2-AK002 represents an advanced multi-layered approach to blast containment.

  • Multi-Layered Wall Structure: From the inside to the outside, the circular cross-section consists of a 15.0mm seamless steel plate, an energy-absorbing buffer layer, an 18.0mm seamless steel plate, and a 0.8mm stainless steel decorative outer plate.

  • Advanced Energy-Absorbing Buffer: The critical middle buffer layer is constructed from special-shaped tubes made of 1.0mm aluminum plate (arc length 340mm), internally filled with foamed aluminum, and densely packed between the inner and outer tanks.

  • Reinforced Base Structure: The bottom of the tank mirrors the wall’s defensive layering (15.0mm steel plate + foamed aluminum buffer layer + 18.0mm steel plate) but is further fortified by 8 radial reinforcing ribs made from 12.0mm steel plate.

  • Internal Capacity & Mobility: The inner tank features a diameter of 495mm and a depth of 560mm to accommodate large threats, while the exterior base is equipped with 4 rollers for necessary mobility.

Design Principles & Safety Mechanisms

This product relies on rigorous physical containment and energy dissipation principles to protect lives and property.

  • Certified Blast Containment: The structure strictly meets the requirements of the “GA 871-2010 Explosion-proof tank” standard for fixed explosion-proof tanks with a TNT explosive equivalent of 2.0KG.

  • Acoustic & Pressure Considerations: While the tank possesses sound-muffling and blast-containment capabilities, detonations at close range or indoors will still generate a very loud noise.

  • Strict One-Time Deployment: To guarantee absolute structural integrity, the explosion-proof tank must not be used again after an explosion has occurred inside it.

Operational & Environmental Guidelines

To safely utilize the physical venting mechanics and ensure operational readiness, security teams must adhere to strict guidelines:

  • Vertical Clearance: The tank must be positioned in an area with a clear overhead space of 6 meters or more. It must be placed away from load-bearing beams, chandeliers, or any overhead fixtures that could become hazardous flying debris upon impact.

  • Evacuation Radius: During an active disposal or detonation event, all personnel must maintain a safe distance of at least 4 meters to protect their eardrums.

  • Disposal Protocol: When destroying explosives, the detonator and wires must be routed through the dedicated destruction hole to connect with the explosive. Detonation must only be triggered by professional EOD personnel after all personnel have evacuated to a safe zone.

  • Routine Maintenance: Unused tanks require regular oiling of their moving parts to prevent rusting. Operators must also promptly clear debris from the inside of the tank and the pressure relief cover to ensure cleanliness.
