The HD300A Portable Explosives & Narcotics Trace Detector is a next-generation handheld screening solution built on high-resolution Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) with dual positive/negative ion mode operation, allowing a single device to detect both explosives and narcotics at the same time. Instead of scanning the item itself, operators simply wipe the surface of a suspect package or luggage with a sampling swab; invisible trace residues are captured and analyzed within seconds, delivering precise identification of dangerous substances before a threat can be assembled or deployed.

Engineered for frontline security operations, the HD300A produces results in as little as 3 seconds with a detection rate of ≥ 99% and a false alarm rate of ≤ 1%, covering all explosives listed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as well as commonly abused narcotics. Its open, upgradeable database lets new threat samples be added at any time as threats evolve. Built for the field, the unit weighs under 4.0 kg, runs for more than 2 hours of continuous operation (12+ hours standby) on a single charge, and performs reliably from -20℃ to 60℃ — ready for deployment at border crossings, checkpoints, crime scenes and beyond.
